Donna M. Moughty 

Donna Moughty has been conducting family research for over 25 years. She teaches and lectures about Irish research, methodology and computer topics, locally and at national and regional conferences and institutes. In addition, she provides consultations, research assistance and training. Donna takes groups to Ireland each year to research and is the author of the "Quick Reference Guides for Irish Research." Mike Provard has worked at FamilySearch for 35 years and is currently an Events Coordinator and a member of the RootsTech core team. He has presented at national genealogical and library conferences, specializing in beginning research, FamilySearch topics, and Illinois research.

Brian Rhinehart 

Brian Rhinehart, of Rhinehart Roots Genealogy, is a graduate of Boston University’s Certificate of Genealogy Research course, and was recently featured in Family Tree Magazine. He has attended various genealogy institutes, including the Genealogical Institute on Federal Records (GenFed) in Washington DC. Brian specializes in Civil War and War of 1812 records at the National Archives and has retrieved military files for hundreds of clients there.

Diane L. Richard, MBA 

Mosaic Research and Project Management 

Diane L. Richard has been a professional genealogist since 2004. She researched for the TV show "Who Do You Think You Are?" She has authored almost 300 articles for such publications as Internet Genealogy and Your Genealogy Today, and is editor of the North Carolina Genealogical Society Journal. She has spoken nationally about the availability and richness of southern records, genealogical research techniques and tips, as well as under-utilized resource collections.

He received a BA degree from BYU and has done professional research for 30 years. Dan has presented at numerous conferences nationally and internationally. He and his wife Keirstin have been married for 30 years and they have 5 children and 4 grandchildren.

A native of central New York, Barbara discovered genealogy at Jamboree. Barbara is active in SCGS as the co- chair of the Jamboree Extension Series Webinars, facilitator of the Legacy Family Tree User group, librarian and Jamboree Committee member. She is also active in APG, NGS, Genealogical Speakers Guild, and the British Isles Family History Society-USA. Barbara presents workshops on a variety of genealogy topics. She is a DAR volunteer genealogist/consultant and writer.

Jamboree 2016 Headliner Spotlight: Michael Provard

Michael Provard has been involved in the genealogy and family history community for more than 29 years. He began his career as a library attendant at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City. As an employee of FamilySearch, he has worked at the Library in acquisitions and photoduplication, at the Granite Mountain Records Vault, and for 10 years supporting the 2,000 family history centers in North America. In 2012, he joined the Marketing team as an operational and logistical coordinator. He has taught many classes to local groups and at national genealogical conferences. He specializes in beginning research, Midwest and British research.

Mike Provard has been involved in the genealogy and family history community for more than 28 years. He began his career as a library attendant at the Family History Library. As an employee of FamilySearch he has worked at the Library in acquisitions and photoduplication, at the Granite Mountain Records Vault, and for 10 years supporting the 2,000 family history centers in North America. In 2012 he joined the Marketing team as an operations and logistical coordinator.

Mike has taught many classes to local groups and at national genealogical conferences. He specializes in beginning research, US Midwest and British research. He has a BFA degree in Photography from the University of Utah and is a semi-professional portrait and architectural photographer. He is in his 17th season singing with the Utah Symphony Chorus. He is married to Peggy Burger and they are the parents of four children. They reside in West Jordan, Utah.

FamilySearch has developed two mobile apps that allow you to carry your family tree with you. This class will demonstrate how to obtain and use the apps, plus highlight the newest features, including updating tree information, capturing source documents in the field, and recording and uploading audio files.
