Free! A unique opportunity to talk to an expert and learn from fellow attendees. Twelve ethnic and research tables with a table host and 9 participants; ask questions, seek answers and discuss. Second Sessions - 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Geoff Rasmussen graduated in Genealogy from BYU and served as director and VP of the Utah Genealogical Association. He develops the Legacy software and is the host of the Family Tree Webinars series.

FamilySearch International 

David Rencher is FamilySearch International's Chief Genealogical Officer and Director of the Family History Library. In his downtown office overlooking the meticulous flowers of the corporate headquarters in Salt Lake, Utah, Rencher has lost none of the passion for family history that started his career nearly four decades ago as a young Irish research reference consultant at the Family History Library just a block away.

Jane Neff Rollins, MSPH 
Sherlock Combs Genealogy 

Jane Neff Rollins, MSPH is a professional genealogist. Her genealogical education includes ProGen 29, SLIG, and the Forensic Genealogy Institute. She regularly translates Russian-language records and speaks at local, regional, and international genealogy conferences. She is a member of APG, NGS, and the Genealogical Speakers Guild. Jane’s writing has appeared in RootsKey, a genealogy newsletter. Jane is also the author of “Health Care Navigation 101.”

Sandra Rumble 
RumbleSoft, Inc 

Sandra is an avid genealogist who has been tracing her genealogy and family history for 19 years. Unable to find a software solution that made organization, visualization and research planning efficient, she combined her 30+ years’ experience designing software with family history and created GenDetective®. Sandra teaches introductory genealogy classes at Delaware Valley University’s Center for Learning in Retirement and speaks at local genealogy societies and regional genealogy conferences.

Jamboree 2016 Headliner Spotlight: David Rencher, AG, CG, FIGRS, FUGA,

David Rencher, AG, CG, FIGRS, FUGA, is employed by the Family History Department in Salt Lake City as the Chief Genealogical Officer for FamilySearch. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 1980 with a BA in Family and Local History. A professional genealogist since 1977, he holds credentials as both an Accredited and Certified genealogist. Since 1997, he serves as the Irish course coordinator and instructor for the Institute of Genealogical and Historical Research. He is a past-president of the Federation of Genealogical Societies and the Utah Genealogical Association. David is a Fellow of the Utah Genealogical Association and the Irish Genealogical Research Society, London and is currently an instructor for the British Institute where he also serves as the vice-president of the International Society for British Genealogy and Family History. He currently serves on the Board of the Federation of Genealogical Societies.
