Franchesca Werden 

Franchesca Werden is the Media Director for the DNA Doe Project and serves as the Vice President of the Board for the organization. She is a professional genealogist with specialties in Italian genealogical research and forensic genealogy. She is on the teaching team for both of the Boston University courses in Genealogy Studies. She has been involved with the DNA Doe Project since shortly after the organization’s inception in 2017. To date, the DNA Doe Project has solved over forty cases.

Paula Williams 

Paula Williams specializes in southern US research and using DNA to solve genealogical problems. She's studied at GRIP, SLIG, IGHR, and the Genealogical Institute on Federal Records (Gen-Fed). She has taught DNA courses at IGHR and GRIP. She's a board member for the Virginia Genealogical Society and for the Genealogical Research Institute of Virginia (GRIVA), leading the latter's DNA Special Interest Group.

Beth A. Stahr, MLS, CG®. is a recently retired academic librarian and instructor with over forty years of genealogical research experience. She has lived and worked in the Midwest, Louisiana and now Tennessee. She has been certified by the Board for Certification of Genealogists since 1990, is an alumnus of NIGR, IGHR and Excelsior College’s Genetic Genealogy class, has lectured for local, state and national genealogical societies, and published in academic and genealogical journals.

Juliana Szucs 

Ancestry.com 

Juliana Szucs has been working for Ancestry for more than 23 years. She began her family history journey trolling through microfilms with her mother when she was 11 years old. Juliana lectures regularly at national and local events and is an instructor at the Midwestern African American Genealogical Institute. She has written many articles for online and print genealogical publications holds a certificate from Boston University's Online Genealogical Research Program.

Penny Walters, PhD 

Penny Walters, PhD, www.searchmypast.co.uk has been a University lecturer for 30 years in Psychology and Business Studies. Penny was adopted & became interested in genealogy after having her first child. DNA testing revealed 94% Irish heritage. Penny lectures internationally, presents webinars & writes articles about a variety of genealogy topics. Author of 'Ethical Dilemmas in Genealogy' and 'The Psychology of Searching' available on Amazon in paperback or kindle.

Joseph B. Shumway, AG® 

Joseph B. Shumway is a gifted genealogist, problem solver, and a masterful teacher, having worked as a professional since 2004. He is best known for his work on the Emmy-nominated series, “Who Do You Think You Are?”, where he works behind the scenes on the research as well as a regular on-camera contributor. Joseph works with private clients through AncestryProGenealogists in Salt Lake City. He is also a certified Primal Health Coach, operating his own practice centered on ancestral health.

Tara Shymanski, PLCGS 

Tara Shymanski is a genealogy researcher, lecturer, and blogger. She has a Bachelor of Arts in History and completed 40 courses in research, analysis and methodology to obtain a certificate from the National Institute for Genealogical Studies. Tara has lectured at genealogy conferences in Western Canada, her local genealogy society, and the Family History Centre in Calgary.

Janette Silverman 

Dr. Janette Silverman is a Research Team Manager at AncestryProGenealogists where she heads up a team specializing in Eastern European and Jewish genealogy. Janette holds master's and doctorate degrees in Jewish studies from Spertus Institute in Chicago. Her doctoral dissertation, “In Living Memory,” explored the experiences of four Jewish families in Europe and the United States, contextualizing the micro-history of those families within the more global historical world.

Susan Kay Skilton, AG® 

Susan Kay Skilton, AG®, specializes in California and New York genealogy, and has worked for AncestryProGenealogists since June 2016. She has published a book on the history of Moraga, a town whose land was originally a land grant to Joaquin Moraga, grandson of Lieutenant Joaquin Moraga of the De Anza expedition.

Jane Neff Rollins, MSPH 

Sherlock Combs Genealogy 

Jane Neff Rollins, MSPH, is a professional genealogist. Her genealogical education includes ProGen 29, SLIG, and the Forensic Genealogy Institute. She regularly translates Russian-language records and speaks at local, regional, and international genealogy conferences. She is a member of APG, NGS, and the Genealogical Speakers Guild. Jane’s writing has appeared in "NGS Magazine," "FGS Forum," and other publications. Jane is also the author of “Health Care Navigation 101.”

Sandra Rumble is an avid genealogist who has been tracing her genealogy and family history for 19 years. Sandra teaches genealogy classes at Delaware Valley University’s Center for Learning in Retirement, and she speaks at local genealogy societies, regional genealogy conferences and has coordinated courses at GRIP.

David Ryan, MA DIPGEN, is a professional genealogist and oral historian based just outside of Cork city, Ireland. David is a graduate of University College Cork. He holds an MA in Medieval History and a Diploma in Genealogy. He has worked as a professional genealogist for the past seven years.

Lori Lee Sauber is the owner of LSquared Innovations and inventor of L2Scrollio. She holds a BFA in Fiber Arts and Textiles and a Certificate of Genealogy and Family History, both from the University of Washington. She retired after a 35-year career in textile technology, team leadership, and project management for global companies. Lori Lee has been researching family histories for over 20 years. She teaches and lectures about Irish research, methodology and computer topics, locally and at national and regional conferences and institutes. Brian Rhinehart 

Brian Rhinehart, of Rhinehart Roots Genealogy, is a graduate of Boston University’s Certificate of Genealogy Research course, and was recently featured in Family Tree Magazine. He has attended various genealogy institutes, including the Genealogical Institute on Federal Records (GenFed) in Washington DC. Brian specializes in Civil War and War of 1812 records at the National Archives and has retrieved military files for hundreds of clients there.

Diane L. Richard has been a professional genealogist since 2004. She researched for the TV show "Who Do You Think You Are?" She has spoken nationally about the availability and richness of southern records, genealogical research techniques and tips, as well as under-utilized resource collections.
