Why not treat yourself and upgrade to Concierge Level?

The Burbank Marriott's Concierge Level, located in the East Tower, offers Jamboree attendees: 

• Larger rooms than those in the hotel's West Tower and close proximity to the Convention Center.
• Rooms are available with one king or two double beds.
• Connecting rooms are available for larger parties. 
• All-day access to the Concierge Lounge. 
• The lounge serves breakfast daily, hors-d'oeuvres, and dessert.

Disability Access

All conference rooms are disability-accessible and are located on one floor. The hotel has a limited number of parking slots for disabled. We will have additional slots (directly to the north of the Convention Center) reserved for parking for the disabled.

Parking
We suggest you arrive early. Our Conference parking rate is $15.00. Valet parking is available for $26.00 per day. Only overnight guests may come and go from the lot. Daily parkers are not provided this service. Enter the Marriott parking lot from Thornton Avenue.  There is a 10-minute drop-off time, so if a driver is dropping off someone at the event and then leaving, they will not need to pay for parking within the first 10 minutes.

The Marriott is a smoke-free facility. No smoking is allowed within the conference center or the hotel facilities.

Parking at Jamboree and the Genetic Genealogy Conferences can be tricky. Our advice, based on years of experience - arrive early.

Parking

Enter the Marriott parking lot from Thornton Avenue.

There is a Bank of America lot located just to the north of the Marriott that is closed to our use at all times. **This is new**

We have negotiated a discounted rate of $16 per day for parking in the Marriott lot for the duration of the conference. Valet parking is available at $27 per day.

There is a 10-minute drop-off time, so if a driver is dropping off someone at the Marriott and then leaving, they will not need to pay for parking within the first 10 minutes.

Additionally, overnight guests of the Marriott enjoy in-and-out privileges, and parking charges can be added to your hotel bill for your convenience. The Marriott registration desk will code your room keycard to use to go in and out of the parking lot.

Daily parkers not staying overnight do not have in-and-out privileges. Commuters can pay the attendant for parking at the kiosk inside the convention center. Attendant hours will be posted at Jamboree.

Handicapped parking is available north of the Convention Center.

In the event the Marriott lot becomes full, parking will be available in Airport Economy Lot C directly across from the Marriott lot. The Jamboree rate for parking at Lot C is $13.00 per day. 

If both the Marriott and Lot C fill up, Airport Parking Lot A on the west side of Hollywood Way 1/5 mile north of Thornton Avenue will also be available for $10 per day. Finally, Lot D (Star Park) directly across Hollywood Way from the Marriott will be available for public use. The price for parking at Lot D can go up to $23 for the day.

Jamboree 2016 - Parking Information

Parking at the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport

Enter the Marriott parking lot from Thornton Avenue.

We have negotiated a discounted rate of $14 per day for parking in the Marriott lot for the duration of the conference. Valet parking is available at $26 per day.

There is a 10-minute drop-off time, so if a driver is dropping off someone at the Marriott and then leaving, they will not need to pay for parking within the first 10 minutes.

Additionally, overnight guests of the Marriott enjoy in-and-out privileges, and parking charges can be added to your hotel bill for your convenience. The Marriott registration desk will code your room keycard to use to go in and out of the parking lot.

Daily parkers not staying overnight do not have in-and-out privileges. Commuters can pay the attendant for parking at the kiosk inside the convention center. Attendant hours will be posted at Jamboree.

Finally, Lot D (Star Park) directly across Hollywood Way from the Marriott will be available for public use. The price for parking at Lot D can go up to $23 for the day.

For those taking the train - the Amtrak station is within walking distance to the Marriott, and is located on Empire Street south of the Airport. The Marriott does have a shuttle that is available, but it does not make regular runs. You will need to call Guest Services – 818 843-6000 extension 6615 to arrange for a pick up.

Jamboree 2015 - Parking Information

In the event the Marriott lot becomes full, parking is available in Airport Economy Lot C directly across from the Marriott lot on the opposite side of Thornton Avenue.  The daily parking cost is $13.

In the unlikely event that both lots are full, Airport Parking lot B on the east side of Hollywood Way 1/5 mile north of Thornton will serve as an overflow lot.  Shuttle service will be provided to and from the Marriott from that location.

Jamboree - Parking

There's just no denying it. Parking is always challenging at the Marriott. The better we all follow the suggestions and rules, the less painful  it will be for all  of us.

Enter from Hollywood Way if you want to check in and drop off your luggage, if you want to use valet parking, or if you're dropping someone off at the lobby. You can make a U-turn and go back out the driveway without having to pay.

Enter on Thornton Avenue to park in the Marriott parking lot. Exit on Thornton Avenue.

Parking is $11 per day. Marriott guests should have the parking added to your room bill. You will use your room key card to speed through the parking gate.

The Bank of America parking lot may not be used by our guests during business hours on Thursday or Friday.

Placard parking is available throughout the Marriott lot. Several additional spaces will be added for Jamboree. Look for them in the rows immediately to the east of the pavilions. 

OVERFLOW PARKING PLAN

When the Marriott's parking lot is full, the hotel will station an attendant at the entrance gate that will let you know that no more spots are available.

Marriott Overnight Guests

If the Marriott lot is full, a priority system will be put into effect. Priority will be given to overnight guests of the hotel.

Enter the hotel from the Hollywood Way entrance.
Pull into the hotel circular driveway
Tell the valet that you are staying at the hotel, or show your room key.
The valet will park your car and you will not be charged the valet parking rate. You’ll be charged the standard Jamboree discounted rate of $11 per day.

Daily Commuters

If the Marriott lot is full, commuters will be directed to the overflow parking area which is located on Burbank Airport grounds. The Marriott shuttle will pick you up and drop you off at your car. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes or so. Security will be stationed in the overflow lot from 8pm to 8am.
Shade and seating will be provided in the overflow lot.

The overflow parking lot is shown on the photo below. Driving directions:

Pull out of the Marriott and turn left onto Thornton Drive.
At the light at Hollywood Way, turn right.
The parking area is about a mile north on Hollywood Way.
It is on the left hand side of the street.
You will be turning before you reach Tulare Avenue. If you reach Tulare, make a U-turn and drive back the way you came.

Jamboree: Parking. Blech.

Let's talk about parking.  Blech.

There's just no getting around it. Parking is always challenging at the Marriott. While the location is very convenient for our out-of-town visitors and those who stay overnight, it's particularly  hard on the daily commuters. The Marriott has heard our pleas and has worked out an overflow parking area. We'll cover that in a few paragraphs.

Let's take care of the basics first.

Enter from Hollywood Way if you want to check in and drop off your luggage, if you want to use valet parking, or if you're dropping someone off at the lobby.  You can make a U-turn and go back out the driveway without having to pay.

Enter on Thornton Avenue to park in the Marriott parking lot.

When you are leaving, exit on Thornton Avenue.

Parking is $10 per day. Marriott guests have in-and-out privileges and can come and go at will. Tell the Marriott registration desk that you are parking, and they will code your room keycard to allow you to get in and out of parking. They will add the charge to your hotel room.

If you are commuting and not staying at the Marriott, daily parking is also $10 per day.  Daily parkers have no in-and-out privileges.

On Saturday and Sunday, nearly 1100 parking spots are available for our use. During business hours on Friday, the Bank of America parking lot is not open for use by Jamboree attendees.

IF THE MARRIOTT LOT IS FULL,
1. DO NOT move any barricades or signs to come into the lot.
2. DO NOT park in fire lanes.
3. DO NOT drive around for 45 minutes, looking for that one open spot and getting all worked up and annoyed. There isn't one and it won't help.
4. DO follow instructions from parking staff members. 
5. DO use the overflow parking area.

You can park in the Airport Economy Lot C parking lot directly to the north of the Marriott across Thornton Avenue. The parking cost is $10. The Marriott will provide shuttle service to and from the Airport Lot C. (This map is also on the App and you can download a copy of it here.)

Handicapped parking is available throughout the Marriott lot. Additional handicapped parking spots will be available in the rows immediately to the east of the pavilions.

Commuters, to prevent delays leaving the parking lot, please pay before you go to your car. A parking attendant will be available according to the following schedule:

Friday
8:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Outside the Main Hotel City Ballroom
12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Convention Center

Saturday and Sunday
9:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Convention Center

Valet parking is available at a cost of $22. Valet parking may be limited.
