Kelli Bergheimer is a writer, teacher, editor, and national genealogical speaker. Kelli holds a Bachelor’s in Biology and a Master’s in Business Management. Kelli is a math and science supervising editor for Smart Education—a K-12 textbook company located in Dubai writing textbooks for the MENA region—Middle East Northern Africa. Kelli runs Mess on the Desk, a genealogical organization company with a blog, YouTube channel, and online store. Kelli is the facilitator of Genetics, Genealogy & You.

Barbara Randall

A native of central New York, Barbara discovered genealogy at Jamboree. Barbara is active in SCGS as the co- chair of the Jamboree Extension Series Webinars, facilitator of the Legacy Family Tree User group, librarian and Jamboree Committee member. She is also active in APG, NGS, Genealogical Speakers Guild, and the British Isles Family History Society-USA. Barbara presents workshops on a variety of genealogy topics. She is a DAR volunteer genealogist/consultant and writer.

Tim Janzen is a medical doctor in Portland, Oregon. For the past 12 years he has been using DNA analysis to help complement traditional genealogical research. Glenn Penner and he are the co-administrators of the Mennonite DNA project at www.mennonitedna.com. Tim has a strong interest in many areas of genetic genealogy, particularly in regards to phasing and autosomal DNA analysis. Dr. Janzen speaks frequently on this topic.

Shannon S. Christmas, MCP, specializes in genetic, colonial American, and African-American genealogy in Virginia and the Carolinas. He serves as a 23andMe Ancestry Ambassador, administrator of The Captain Thomas Graves of Jamestown Autosomal DNA Project, and a co-administrator of The Hemings-Jefferson-Wayles-Eppes Autosomal DNA Project. Shannon has a special interest in employing autosomal DNA to verify and extend pedigrees, assess the veracity of oral history, and reconstruct ancestral genomes.
