Lisa Medina, MBA, is a devoted family historian with experience researching American and Mexican genealogy. She lovingly shares much of this research with her family – a husband of 11 years and 2 fascinated sons. When not researching, Lisa is a busy Director of Admissions and Registrar at a California State University.

Jamie Lee McManus Mayhew, a California native, is a family genealogist, genealogical educator, occasional blogger, and professional researcher. She is active in numerous societies and organizations and has served as president of the California State Genealogical Alliance, Southern California Chapter APG, and the Genealogical Society of North Orange County California.

Cheri Mello began dabbling in genealogy as a 5th grader with the U.S. History assignment. She began her active adult research over 25 years ago, after the death of her remaining grandparents. Her expertise ranges from various areas of America, to Portugal, as well as DNA, genealogy software, Find A Grave, and more!

Susan R Miller 
Susan R. Miller is the Director of Programs and Outreach for the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society (NYG&B). She is the editor of the award-winning New York Researcher, the NYG&B’s member magazine, a managing editor of the New York Family History Research Guide and Gazetteer. She has attended GRIP and numerous genealogy conferences. Sue lectures at regional and national programs. Outside of genealogy, Sue is a life-long sailor and a past Commodore of the Manhasset Bay Yacht Club.

Kate Eakman holds an MA in history from the University of North Carolina. A former college history professor, she is a senior researcher for Legacy Tree Genealogists. Eakman brings a rich historical background plus more than 20 years of genealogical experience to her projects which include Irish, Scottish, and English genealogy, as well as Native American, African American, and brick wall research.

Jamboree 2015 - Meet the Speaker: Kathy Meade

Kathy Meade is the North American representative for ArkivDigital AD AB, an online site that provides access to newly photographed color images of Swedish historical records. Kathy has spent more than ten years giving presentations, writing articles and helping persons with Swedish genealogy. She serves as a member of the Advisory Board of the Nordic Family Genealogy Center at the Swedish American Museum in Chicago and volunteers at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library helping patrons with their Swedish research.
