Jamboree's 50th Birthday Bash is excited to offer a full conference track tailored for researching and developing your knowledge and skills using DNA. These Jamboree lectures combine genetics and genealogy, providing everyone with the opportunity to learn something new, regardless of their level. The speakers will include Jim Brewster, Diahan Southard, Richard Weiss, Brad Larkin, Janine Cloud, David Dowell, Drew Smith, David Nicholson, Alice M. Anne Gillespie Mitchell 
Ancestry 

Anne is a Product Manager at Ancestry working on Ancestry Library, K12, and RootsWeb. She has taught at SLIG and TIGR. She has lectured for more than a decade on genealogy topics and has developed multiple courses for Ancestry Academy and written and produced many of the short videos on the site. Anne’s passion for history and computers have merged into a lifelong fascination for genealogy and developing methodologies to discover important clues and stories found in historical documents.

Donna M Moughty 

Donna Moughty has been conducting family research for over 25 years. She teaches and lectures on the Internet, Irish research, methodology and computer topics locally and at national and regional conferences and institutes. In addition, she provides consultations, research assistance and training. Donna takes groups to Ireland each year to research and is the author of the "Quick Reference Guides for Irish Research." Living DNA 

David Nicholson is a successful biotechnology entrepreneur who founded DNA Worldwide Group in 2004 with the aim to transform the level of service provided and ensure true quality and care in the industry. With Living DNA, he appreciates the purpose of the business is to use DNA to help unite the world, in a way we can all see how closely we are connected.

Dave Obee 

Dave Obee has written a dozen books on genealogy and history and has given more than 600 presentations in Canada, the United States and Australia since 1997. He is publisher of the daily newspaper in Victoria, British Columbia and is a member of the services consultation committee at Library and Archives Canada in Ottawa. Dave is a columnist for two genealogy magazines and is a member of the board of Canada’s History Society, which promotes the teaching of history in Canada.
