Gleeson Associates Ltd 

International speaker, Maurice Gleeson is a psychiatrist and pharmaceutical physician. He is administrator of several Surname DNA Projects, works with adoptees and unknown parentage cases, and has appeared as a consultant for the Irish TV series Adoption Stories. Organizer of DNA Lectures for "Genetic Genealogy Ireland" since 2013, he authors several blogs and creates YouTube videos. He’s been honored for his contributions to genetic genealogy in Ireland, the UK, US and Canada.

Suzanne E. Greco 

Italian Parish Records 

Suzanne Greco is the Director of Italian Parish Records, a non-profit organization whose mission is to digitize Italy's Catholic Parish Registers and make them available on one centralized website. With over 23 years of experience working with Italian records Suzanne is passionate about the preservation of these priceless records. Suzanne is a member of the Southern California and New York Genealogy Societies.

Colleen Robledo Greene, MLIS 

Colleen Robledo Greene, MLIS, is an academic librarian and college educator who has been researching her family history since 1997. She is a librarian at California State University, Fullerton, and teaches a genealogical research methods course for San Jose State University. Colleen is a nationally recognized speaker, and serves as a Director-at-Large for the National Genealogical Society.

Diane Henriks 

Know Who Wears the Genes in Your Family 

Diane Henriks is a professional genealogist and investigator who uses advanced deductive reasoning and logical constructs to thoroughly investigate a case, with a specialty in finding living descendants in family trees, and has worked closely with private investigators to find living people. She has been researching family history and genealogy for the past 11 years. She has researched many of her own family lines, as well as that of her clients, and is a member of APG and SCGS.

Daniel Earl

Daniel Earl got his start in family history at age 10 when his father took him to the grave of his great-grandfather; that sparked a lifetime of interest in family history. He has spent the last 25 years researching his own family history and helping others make history a part of their story.

Alice M Fairhurst

Alice M. Fairhurst, MS is President of the Southern California Genealogical Society and serves as Jamboree co-chair. From 2006 to 2015 she managed the International Society of Genetic Genealogy (ISOGG) Y-DNA Haplotree tree (www.isogg.org/tree) cited in many academic papers. Prior to retirement from JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory), she taught at Cal Poly Pomona and Glendale Community College. An avid genealogist, she first started recording her family stories when in grammar school and has traced her Scottish, Irish, and French roots back to the old country.

Colleen Greene, MLIS

Colleen Greene, MLIS, is a librarian, web developer, and educator. She is the marketing librarian for California State University, Fullerton, and teaches an online graduate-level genealogical methodology course for San Jose State University. Greene's teaching focuses on methodology; Mexican, Mexican-American, and Hispanic research; emerging technologies; and society marketing and communications.

Jean Wilcox Hibben, PhD

Retired college professor and former Board-Certified genealogist, Jean Wilcox Hibben has a Master's in speech communication and a PhD in folklore. A national speaker and writer, Jean is the staff trainer for the Corona Family History Center and President of both the Corona Gen Soc and the So Calif Chapter of APG. Jean’s podcasts on social history are available at genjourneys.podbean.com. She has been a Jamboree presenter since 2010.

Crista Cowan
Ancestry

Crista Cowan has been employed by Ancestry since 2004; her involvement in family history, however, reaches all the way back to childhood. From being parked under a microfilm reader at the Family History Library in her baby carrier to her current career as a professional genealogist, Crista has spent thousands of hours discovering, documenting and telling family stories. She is known as the Barefoot Genealogist and has a weekly YouTube show designed to help people discover their family history.

Colleen Greene, MLIS is a librarian, web developer, content strategist, and educator. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in History, a Masters of Library & Information Science, and a certificate in genealogical research from Boston University. Colleen is currently the Marketing & Web Systems Librarian for the Pollak Library at California State University, Fullerton, and will be teaching a graduate genealogy course online for the San Jose State University School of Information in summer 2016.

SA035   An Introduction to Researching Your Mexican Ancestors 
The long history of formalized record keeping in New Spain and Mexico provides a wealth of information for researching those ancestors. But these records cannot be of help unless one knows the right place to start looking. This introductory lecture will cover key U.S. and Mexico records for identifying your Mexican immigrant origins and ancestors, explain how Mexican naming conventions can play a role in finding those records, and will highlight the types of genealogical information that can be gleaned from those records. Level: Beg.
