Alice M Fairhurst, MS

Alice M. Fairhurst, MS is a past President of the Southern California Genealogical Society (scgsgenealogy.com) and serves as the Jamboree co-chair for 2017.  From 2006 to 2015 she managed the International Society of Genetic Genealogy (ISOGG) Y-DNA Haplotree tree (www.isogg.org/tree) and has been cited in many academic papers. Prior to retirement from JPL (Jet Propulsion Laboratory), she taught at Cal Poly Pomona and Glendale Community College. An avid genealogist, she first started recording her family stories when in grammar school and has traced her Scottish, Irish, and French roots back to the old country.
