In observance of the Centennial Anniversary of World War I, Jamboree 2017 invites attendees and guests to remember and honor those who served at home and abroad.
All registered Jamboree attendees will receive a special badge ribbon with their registration materials and are invited to write the name of a relative or WWI hero to be remembered. Jamboree team members will have permanent fabric markers on hand to fill out honoree's names.
Additional ribbons will be available for purchase at Jamboree while supplies last. All funds raised from badge sales will be donated to the VFW.

Service in The Great War is also commemorated by the red remembrance poppy, inspired by the poem "In Flanders Fields" by Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae of Canada.
Honor your World War I veteran. Poppies will be available for a donation from the VFW.
