Jamboree 2016: Exhibitor Spotlight - Boston University Online Programs in Genealogical Research

Boston University offers two online programs to best improve the research methodologies of genealogists from hobbyists to experts with their CG®. Our essentials program is designed specifically for genealogy enthusiasts who seek to improve their research skills and develop a better understanding of best practices in the field. Our Certificate program is for experienced amateurs or budding professionals and will give you the skills, tools, methodology and practice to expertly use both certain facts and doubt appropriately. Developed in collaboration with – and taught by- some of the premier genealogists in the country, the Genealogical Research Programs help students identify and evaluate evidence, design research strategies, and write quality reports.  Please see our handouts for more information on either program.
