Paul Woodbury 
Legacy Tree Genealogists 

Paul Woodbury is a graduate of BYU where he studied genetics and genealogy. He also has a master’s degree in instructional design and educational technology from the University of Utah. Woodbury currently works at Legacy Tree Genealogists. He specializes in genetic genealogy, but also loves French, Spanish, Italian and Scandinavian genealogy. He researches and presents regularly in these fields and loves to share his knowledge with his students and clients.

Glenn Yamada 

Glenn and his wife are a biracial couple married for 53 years. Family internment in a Japanese camp during World War II, affected Glenn's life and those of his family and their descendants.

Cyndi Ingle 

Cyndi Ingle, a genealogist for more than 39 years, is the creator and innovator behind the award-winning and globally recognized CyndisList.com. Cyndi is an expert in using technology for genealogy, research in the United States and bringing together traditional methodology with organization, computers, software, and the Internet. She is an internationally-known guest lecturer, and she has authored numerous articles and three books.

New Jamboree Speaker - Notice of Change

Notice of Jamboree Speaker Change

The Jamboree committee works hard to make sure you have the best possible speakers and presentations. When contracts were signed in the fall of 2018, the committee understood that our speakers may need to alter this commitment due to extenuating circumstances. When this happens, we go out of our way to replace this special speaker with a highly qualified substitute.

Cyndi Ingle 

Cyndi Ingle, a genealogist for more than 35 years, is the creator of Cyndi's List; author of three books for genealogical research on the Internet; a past-member of the board of directors for the National Genealogical Society and active member in several other genealogical groups.

Jamboree 2015 - Meet the Speaker: Cyndi Ingle

Cyndi Ingle is the owner and creator of Cyndi's List of Genealogy Sites on the Internet, www.CyndisList.com, a categorized index to over 330,000 online resources. Cyndi's List is an award-winning site which helps millions of visitors worldwide. Cyndi, a genealogist for more than 34 years, is a past member of the board of directors for the National Genealogical Society. She is the author of three books for genealogical research on the Internet: Netting Your Ancestors, Cyndi's List, and Planting Your Family Tree Online: How To Create Your Own Family History Web Site.

Plotting, Scheming, and Mapping Online
The Internet is a source for a variety of maps and geographical tools that will help you in your research. From new maps and atlases with online driving directions to old gazetteers with county lines and ancient place names, the Internet has them all. We'll explore those resources, ideas for using them and integrating them into your research routine.

The Hidden Web: Digging Deeper
When Google and traditional search engines don't return useful information, don't stop there. We will explore resources that are invisible to Google and hidden deep within websites and proprietary databases. The "hidden web" lies buried within the collections for commercial websites, libraries, archives, and museums. We will also talk about the importance of indexes that deep-link into websites online, thus uncovering hidden gems of information that may not be found easily through a search engine query.
