Jamboree 2015 - Meet the Speaker: Alice Kane

Alice Kane is a Chinese American native Bostonian with experience using Boston-area repositories. At the NEHGS library in Boston, she assists visiting researchers of all experience levels in using available resources and in learning research strategies to find elusive ancestors. Prior to joining NEHGS, Alice worked for over 20 years at the Boston Public Library. She is an expert in Chinese-American genealogy and also has experience with early and colonial New England, French-Canadian, Irish, and German research. Besides genealogical resources, Alice presents about technology tools useful to family historians such as Evernote and Dropbox.

The Jamboree Committee proudly announces the special event meals that will be held during this year's Genetic Genealogy: DNA Day Plus! and Genealogy Jamboree.

The Jamboree breakfasts and banquets and the DNA luncheon require special registration and an additional fee. Menus will be posted online. Please let us know if you need a vegetarian meal.
