Growing Your Society Track - JamboFREE Friday, June 9. 2017

Whether you are a leader of a genealogical or historical society or are a member of one, the Growing Your Society Track is designed for you. Join us for a series of sessions that will empower you with some tools and techniques you can use to guide the growth and development of your society. These sessions are relevant for all genealogists, not just society leaders.

JF-D Growing Your Society Track

8:30 a.m. - 9:30 p.m - Society Scorecard: How to Measure Success
How is your society faring, really? This thought-provoking session encourages participants to (re)define the vision and mission of their societies, how to align actions and projects to those purposes, and how to measure success and take action. Level: Beg., Int., Adv. Presented by Randy Whited.

9:45 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. - Google Apps for Your Society
While many people are familiar with Google Apps for personal accounts, few may be aware of the free(!) Google for Nonprofits program. This session will highlight the group communication and collaboration capabilities of Google Apps as well as other tools for marketing and fundraising in the program. Level: Beg., Int., Adv. Presented by Randy Whited.

11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. - Preparing Our Genealogical Society for Future Generations
