The Southern California Genealogical Society and Jamboree are honored to have well over 100 societies, across the nation and Canada, publicize the Jamboree in their newsletters, through their websites and social media accounts, e-mail blasts or in their conference syllabus.
Not only is Jamboree the largest “single society” genealogical conference, but it is hosted by a genealogical society, the Southern California Genealogical Society.
Genealogical, historical, lineage, ethnic, and veterans societies, along with libraries, are fantastic resources for your genealogy research! If you’re stuck in your research and have exhausted online resources, this would be your next stop! Did you know that many offer classes and have access to online genealogy databases for free, as well as a plethora of records and resources?
Have you visited our partner societies yet? Head on over to the Jamboree site and check out a list of societies and libraries that may help you in your research! Each has a link that will take you to their site!
A special shout out to the Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania for also being one of our sponsors! The Genealogical Society of Pennsylvania was founded in 1892 and is one of the earliest genealogical societies in the United States! If you have any ancestors from Pennsylvania or adjoining states, then this is the place you’ll want to go!
Did you know that the annual Genealogy Jamboree is recognized as one of the premier education and exhibitor events in the U.S., not to mention one of the largest U.S. genealogy conferences there is!
There’s still time to sign up for this fantastic, once a year event! Don’t miss out!
