Jamboree 2016: Introduction to Genealogy: First Steps - JamboFREE Friday

Are you starting your genealogy and feel like you're going in circles?

This course is for you!

Designed for those with little or no experience with vital records and census records, Beginning Genealogy covers the basics and the most common genealogy mistakes. The course will also explore substitute records and less obvious sources such as mortuary records, city directories, military records, and online resources.

It's just one of a number of JamboFREE activities, which means it is open to the public and available to attend at no cost. (We would appreciate your registering in advance so we know how many people to expect.)

Introduction to Genealogy: First Steps is scheduled for Friday morning, June 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
