Jamboree 2016 Speaker Spotlight: Jane Neff Rollins

Jane Neff Rollins began researching her family history when you had to hand scroll microfilm at the Family History Library. The first time she recognized her great-grandfather’s family on the 1900 census, she burst into tears. As a professional genealogist, Jane specializes in researching Eastern European Jewish ancestry, although some of her clients have deep roots in colonial America. Jane speaks, reads, and writes Russian and French, and has transliterated/translated Russian census, directory, and vital records entries for many online databases over the last 20 years.
