Sharon Hoyt, MLIS, CG®, is a genealogy researcher and consultant from California’s Silicon Valley. Before focusing full time on genealogy, she managed intranet content and search tools as an information architect at large technology companies. As a native Californian whose family has lived in the state since the 1870s, she enjoys helping clients trace their ancestors’ paths to the Golden State. In addition to client research, Sharon has served as a consultant to Ancestry.com.
