PRESERVE YOUR FAMILY TALES by Writing Stories
SCGS is doing it again!
We're doing another book to accompany the SCGS Jamboree. This year's title is Preserving Your Family Tales. The rules remain the same:
- Submitters do not need to be members of the Southern California Genealogical Society nor registered to attend the Jamboree Conferences.
- Submitters are limited to two entries each.
- The story must be in MS Word.
- The maximum word count for each submission is 600 words. The subject's name should be in the story title. If the subject is deceased, be sure to include the birth and death date.
- A photograph or drawing of the subject may also be submitted. Be sure to title it with the subject.
- The editor has the right to edit the document for fit and clarity.
- The articles included in the book will be on a first come first served basis. (We had 76 contributions for The Stars in Your Family and expect to have room for up to 100.)

- Submissions are accepted from March 1, 2022 to April 30, 2022.
