ABOUT THE PRESENTATION

Whatever the nationality of your immigrant ancestor, to effectively search you must begin at home. The most important piece of information is the town or parish where your ancestor was born and the information is likely in a US record. This lecture focuses on the types of records available in the United States which will help you find that information.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Donna M. Moughty is a researcher, lecturer and blogger on a variety of subjects including Internet, Irish research and computer topics. She is the author of the Quick Reference Guides on Irish Research and leads a research trip to Ireland each year.
