Is your family secret a relative confined to a mental institution? Using a case study, we will review the array of publicly available records and compare that with the records successfully retrieved through the courts. The roles of each of the players in the process are explained.

An engaging speaker, Jill lectures on methodology and her Midwestern, German and Swedish roots to beginners and advanced learners. Jill loves to share her passion for genealogy and is “on the clock.”
