ABOUT THE PRESENTATION
Our immigrant ancestors made amazing sacrifices to come to this country. We “know” that, but do we really understand what it was like? This is not a presentation about finding their immigration details, but rather discussing what it meant to leave home, what the passage experience was, and how they got through the immigration station in America. The focus is on those who came by ship AFTER the Colonial era.
