Jamboree 2015 - Meet the Speaker: Ron Arons, MBA

Ron Arons has given 250+ presentations internationally. He has authored three books: The Jews of Sing Sing, Wanted! U.S. Criminal Records, and most recently, Mind Maps for Genealogy.  In 2006 he appeared on the PBS special The Jewish Americans.  In 2005 he won a Hackman Research Grant from the NY State Archives to continue his research on historical Jewish criminals in New York.  Ron earned a B.S. in Engineering from Princeton University and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Come learn about Family Systems Theory (FST) and genograms, which help one understand family dynamics through multiple generations. FST very much compliments the FAN principle and the Genealogical Proof Standard.

Evaluating Evidence: Ask a Mini-Minnie Question 
This presentation discusses how to evaluate evidence using the Genealogical Proof Standard (GPS), the FAN principle, and mind maps to "prove a negative", a result that is usually very difficult to achieve.

What's in a name?  Trouble!
This talk shows the Genealogical Proof Standard and FAN principle in action to merge and separate multiple identities of multiple men. Mind map tools are used to facilitate the process.
