Join us for this FREE webinar sponsored by the Southern California Genealogical Society.  It's a special presentation for the Labor Day US holiday:

"Butcher, Baker, Candlestick Maker.
Researching Your Ancestors’ Occupations"

It’s likely not all your ancestors were farmers.  This session will explore strategies for researching how your ancestors made a living: what they did, where, why, and for whom.

Denise Spurlock enjoys the challenge of putting together the genealogical pieces to complete the family puzzle. She has been researching her own family for twenty years and now, as owner of Ancestral Trees Research, she assists others with their family history research.

The Jamboree Extension Series allows genealogists from around the world to take advantage of the types of sessions that are offered at the Southern California Genealogy Jamboree in Burbank, CA. The series is offered as a service to the genealogical community. Webinar presentations are scheduled on the first Saturday and third Wednesday of each month.

The complete list of webinars can be found at

Jamboree Extension Sessions are archived and available to SCGS members following the webinar. Membership information can be found at www.scgsgenealogy.com.
