Jean Moss, adopted at the age of 4- 1/2 months in the Bronx, NY, now lives in San Diego, CA. She decided in 2008 to search for her birth family to obtain medical history. Because she knew both families were Jewish, she joined the San Diego Jewish Genealogical Society. She is current President and Program and Hospitality Committee at SDJGS. A member of CGSSD, CVGS, JGSNY, NDSCGS, SCGS, SDGC and SDGS, she gained research skills from each society that helped her find her birth family.
